LeROBOT — Japanese Robot Refurbishment

Source orphaned Japanese industrial arms (no controller, no license) from Yahoo Auctions Japan, then rebuild the control stack with Zynq FPGA, STMBL/ODrive servo drives, Godot digital twins, and Hugging Face LeRobot for AI-driven manipulation.

  • Godot digital twin + URDF export
  • Hugging Face LeRobot policy training
  • Open-source servo drives (STMBL / ODrive)
  • KiCad → JLCPCB controller PCBs
  • Partner-school curriculum

Autonomous Small Vehicle

A compact AVR testbed for navigation, SLAM, sensor fusion, obstacle avoidance, and control loops. Lessons learned here feed into the broader CGG robotics program and student training.

Hardware specs, CAD, and firmware will be added as the track matures.
