Five Technical Internship Tracks

Each track covers a distinct domain of sovereign technology. You'll work across multiple tracks depending on your assignment and batch.

  • ERPNext (Frappe Framework): Hands-on with the world's top open-source ERP — accounting, inventory, CRM, and manufacturing.
  • Nextcloud Ecosystem: Deploying self-hosted cloud platforms with Nextcloud Office (Collabora/LibreOffice) for real-time collaboration.
  • LibreOffice Mastery: Professional open-source alternatives for word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
  • Administrative Workflows: Records handling, document control, and scheduling fundamentals.
🐧 Linux Debian / Ubuntu Workflow
  • Platform Transition: Moving away from proprietary OS to Linux-based platforms for all production workloads.
  • Compatibility Layers: Using WINE and CrossOver to bridge Windows-only applications.
  • Data Sanitation: Techniques to protect privacy and systems from tracking and malware.
  • Scripting, automation, and system administration fundamentals.
🌐 Infrastructure & Networking
  • Virtualization: Hands-on with Virtual Machines (VMs), Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Netgate pfSense: Deploying enterprise-grade firewalls and security appliances.
  • Network Resilience: Community Mesh technologies and WireGuard VPN for secure, resilient remote access.
  • Industrial IoT: Integrating PLCs, microcontrollers, and Home Assistant for industrial data visualization and sensor logging.
🤖 Software Development & AI Mastery
  • Sovereign AI: Experimenting with Ollama, Stable Diffusion, OpenWebUI, and Errbot for localized AI solutions.
  • AI Tool Optimization: Beyond basic usage — optimize, modify, and build tools to accelerate technical mastery.
  • Modern Workflows: Version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted coding (Copilots/Agents).
  • System Integration: Full lifecycle from stakeholder interviews to deployment and handover.
🔗 Integration Management & Advanced Methodologies (Jan 2026 Standards)

This is an extension of traditional project management, updated for the January 2026 technological landscape. The modern Technology Professional must have a much wider field capability than previous generations.

  • Knowledge Management: Using AI tools as a technical bridge to manage vast documentation and research.
  • Agent Management: Managing "Tool-Using AI" (Agents) to handle complex, multi-step tasks.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Mastery: Research, grasp other disciplines/processes, and automate or scale anything that can be modeled as a process.
  • Core Techniques: Lean Backwards Analysis and Action (260112); Save Point Technique (260126).

Strictly On-Site. No Remote.
This internship requires full on-site presence. You will handle physical equipment, configure live infrastructure, and work directly alongside production engineers. This is not a remote or simulated environment.

Rewards Policy
Instead of fixed allowances, we offer deliverable-based rewards of ₱500–₱1,000 per milestone per student. Reward eligibility and milestones will be discussed with your intern supervisor. Plan for self-transportation to the CGG Tech Center.
